Life Science Ontario Announces Recipients of the 2021 LSO Awards

TORONTO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–LSO today announced the recipients of its 2021 LSO Awards, recognizing outstanding individuals and companies contributing to the success of Ontario’s life sciences sector. The awards will be presented during LSO’s Celebration of Success Awards in February 2021.

The 2021 awardees are as follows:

Today, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) announced $3 million in funding for open source software projects representing some of the strongest computational foundations of modern biomedicine, as well as $1.7 million in funding to three distinct organizations advancing reproducibility practices and support for open research infrastructure.

Several games from the Pacific Northwest’s development community are among the major nominees at the 2020 Game Awards, an annual livestreamed ceremony that celebrates the highest achievements in the video games.

MIT.nano has announced its second annual seed grants to support hardware and software research related to sensors, 3D/4D interaction and analysis, augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), and gaming.
