ZTE Axon 20 5G, world’s first under-display camera smartphone goes global on Dec 21

ZTE launched the Axon 20 5G as the world’s first smartphone with an under-display camera back in September. Now, the smartphone is soon going to be launched for the global market on December 21. It will be made available through the official ZTE website in the following markets: EU, UK, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, UAE, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa. However, the company hasn’t announced its price yet and says that it will be revealed via the official website soon.

Oppo files patents for smartphone that folds four times, has under-display camera

Oppo has not yet launched its foldable smartphone but the plan to launch that might still be on. The Chinese company has filed four different patents that show off an interesting design of what could be Oppo’s next foldable phone. The smartphone, as seen in these patents, could fold not one or two but four times, forming into a block when folded for the final time. The existing foldable smartphones from Samsung and Motorola are able to fold once from the middle — either vertically or horizontally. Oppo is taking a different approach to this mechanism that is more like how you fold a paper.
