PS5 Restock Updates: Check PS5 Stock At GameStop, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, And Amazon

Update: A Walmart Canada PS5 restock is in progress after it kicked off at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET–as of 11:15 AM ET the site is currently experiencing a high amount of traffic and not loading right away.

Despite recent PS5 restocks at stores like Walmart and GameStop, including ones on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it’s been frustratingly difficult to find a PS5 or PS5 Digital available to buy directly from a major retailer for many months now. Now that we’re officially in December and Christmas is just weeks away, it makes sense to wonder when stores like Walmart, GameStop, Target, and Best Buy will have more PS5 units available for shoppers. A tweet from Sony confirmed that “more inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year,” but that doesn’t make the scramble to get your hands on a PS5 console any

Many Americans Ignored Thanksgiving Travel Warnings From CDC, Data Show : Coronavirus Updates : NPR

More Americans stayed home for Thanksgiving this year compared with last year — but by relatively small margins.

An NPR analysis of mobile phone location data showed that 42% of Americans with smartphones remained home, up from 36% last year.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention repeatedly urged people to avoid holiday travel because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the warnings, 13% of Americans still traveled a significant distance, the data showed, although that number was down from 17% last year.

Ali Mokdad, from the University of Washington, said that ideally, more people would have stayed home given the high case rates. “This level of travel will unfortunately lead to a rise in cases,” said Mokdad, who is the chief strategy officer for Population Health.

Data, provided to NPR by SafeGraph, are based on tracking the locations of about 18 million mobile phones across the United States. NPR analyzed

Who better to promote a product than a former president? How about three?

Former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton are willing to lend their star power for a good cause, saying this week that they would publicly take a coronavirus vaccine, once it’s available in the U.S., to encourage skeptical Americans to do the same.

Obama said that if Dr. Anthony Fauci, the country’s top infectious disease expert, thought the vaccine was safe and effective,

AWS updates its edge computing solutions with new hardware and Local Zones

AWS today closed out its first re:Invent keynote with a focus on edge computing. The company launched two smaller appliances for its Outpost service, which originally brought AWS as a managed service and appliance right into its customers’ existing data centers in the form of a large rack. Now, the company is launching these smaller versions so that its users can also deploy them in their stores or office locations. These appliances are fully managed by AWS and offer 64 cores of compute, 128GB of memory and 4TB of local NVMe storage.

In addition, the company expanded its set of Local Zones, which are basically small extensions of existing AWS regions that are more expensive to use but offer low-latency access in metro areas. This service launched in Los Angeles in 2019 and starting today, it’s also available in preview in Boston, Houston and Miami. Soon, it’ll expand to

The Red Raiders can consider this payback for the 45-35 loss they dealt the Cowboys the last time the teams encountered one another last October.

Oklahoma State’s offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 21 first-half points. Texas Tech wasn’t quite able to keep up, and the score was 21-17 heading into the break. The offense for Oklahoma State continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 29 points to put the game away.

RB Dezmon Jackson had only a few touches last week, but he got the ball a lot more this time and made it count. Jackson had a dynamite game for the Cowboys; he

Meanwhile, Virginia Tech was first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their game against the Miami (FL) Hurricanes last week.
