Update: The Walmart restock happened at noon ET, and the retailer is now sold out of the Xbox Series X and S. Follow our Xbox availability guide for future restocks and more retailer listings.
Original story follows.
Few retailers have shared concrete details about when they’ll have the PS5 and Xbox Series X available to buy during launch week–and the Xbox Series X has already reappeared and sold at many stores in the early hours of this morning–but thankfully, we know exactly when Walmart will have stock. The store shared specific start times for when you can buy the Xbox Series X/S today (November 10) and the PS5 on Thursday, November 12.
Those hoping to get their hands on the Xbox Series X and S will only have one chance to buy either console at Walmart today. Walmart’s online Xbox listings will restock at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET today, so you’ll want to be ready at your computer then.
Meanwhile, hopeful PS5 purchasers will have four different chances to snag the next-gen console next Thursday. The PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition will be available to purchase at Walmart.com at 12 PM, 3 PM, 6 PM, and 9 PM ET on November 12. As usual, expect stock to be extremely limited, especially as Walmart will be holding back units to have enough for each wave. For both the PS5 and Xbox, we suggest making sure your Walmart account and payment information is up to date beforehand to help the process go smoothly.
If you miss out on the launch day restock for either console, the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will be available to buy in GameStop stores during Black Friday, though stock will be extremely limited.
We’ll be tracking launch day availability for both consoles in our PS5 buying guide and Xbox Series X buying guide, so stay tuned. Our Xbox Series X review is also available now. You can also follow us on Twitter @GameSpotDeals for the latest updates.
